Life often throws us curve balls, unexpected things that happen to us when we least expect them. Some can throw your whole game off if you aren’t prepared to deal with them (sickness, downsizing within an organization, loss of a family member or friend, a misunderstanding, financial difficulties, car troubles, an unexpected house repair, relationship issues, work conflicts, dealing with a judgmental person, seeing someone you love going through a difficult time). We all experience curve balls, unfortunately sometimes multiple times hitting us at the same time.
How we handle the curve balls in our life (the situations that happen) is really up to us, it is all in our control. We need to keep batting and not give up. If we have an attitude of defeat, guess what we will be defeated. If you have an attitude of “how am I” going to get to first, second, third base and then home, you will overcome that challenge in your life. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and that blessings are on the other side (we just don’t know what that blessing is yet). Don’t look back; don’t let those negative curve balls consume your life. You’re not going that way; remember the world shines because of you, keep looking forward.
